Leah Robinson Photography

Welcome to Leah Robinson Photography.

I am a natural light photographer who adores photographing people in the beauty nature has to offer.

I am an Aussie girl living in Ireland, married to my best friend and mother to our 3 fabulous kids.

I believe a photo is something that stops a moment in time. To help us remember not only how that person looked, but how they sounded, smiled, felt when you held them….right at that point in time.

I specialise in baby, children and bridal portraiture.

Let me capture your memories, and turn them into art for your walls for generations to enjoy.

Newborn Sweetness

A beautiful little thing, just 13 days new! Such a pretty little lady, and a lucky one at that – she is welcomed into a family full of love.

Welcome to Life Songs. I am thrilled to be a part of a life stories project with eleven other talented photographers! In this series, we will be documenting our lives with a different theme song each month. The images in the posts will be taken from a less traditional approach, showcasing “real life” in our own ways. This month’s inspiration is ” The Sound of Silence” by Simon and Garfunkel. See the link to the next photographer in the circle at the end of this post.

There was only one thing I could do for this months song, because lets face it – the only time there is EVER silence in my house is when certain people are……resting.

Thank you for viewing my Life Stories post, and please visit the very talented Micheala at Michaela Wickman Photography to see her take on this month’s song!

Sweet Baby N, and her gorgeous big brother R | Dublin photographer

February 29th, 2012

I had the pleasure of photographing these incredibly gorgoeus kiddies. Baby N is 4 weeks new, and so incredibly alert – so much so, she didn’t want to sleep in case she missed anything! She closed her eyes for a few minutes at the end of the session, so I managed one or two sleepy [...]

She closed her eyes for a few minutes at the end of the session, so I managed one or two sleepy shots. Mr. R was happy to dance the shoot away, and what a groover he is too!

It might be worth finding it and having a listen as you browse our blog circle. See the link to the next photographer in the circle at the end of this post.

My youngest son, despite his lack of desire to sleep through the night 16 months into his cute little life, is the epitome of sparkly eyed gorgeousness. I look at him, and want to capture every minute of his rapidly passing babyhood, because my word, it passes by so fast.

I admit that these photos don’t so much fit into the lifestyle genre, but I thought they were fitting for the title this month.

Thank you for viewing my Life Stories post, and please visit the very talented Louise at Louise Glendon photography to see her take on this month’s song!

One of my sons favourite books is the classic “Where the Wild Things Are”. I have wanted to do a shoot based on the book for such a long time, and the other day, the weather was kind to us. Behold, King of the Wild things…..

He travelled off through night and day, and in and out of weeks, and almost over a year, to where the wild things are

And now, let the wild rumpus start!

And Max, king of all wild things, was lonely and wanted to be where someone loved him best of all

Oh please don’t go – we’ll eat you up – we love you so!
